Amitav GHOSH¾Æ¹ÌŸºê °í½¬
Novelist and Essayist. Born in India in 1956. Ghosh is one of India¡¯s best-known writers whose novels use anthropological and historical complex narrative strategies to probe the nature of national and personal identity. In 1990, his debut novel The Circle of Reason won Prix Medicis etranger. He has received numerous international prizes, including Sahitya Akademi Award and Dan David Prize. His published works include The Glass Palace(2000), and The Sea of Poppies(2008). His latest work is an essay The Great Derangement: Climate Change and the Unthinkable(2016).
